How do I create a Prepbuzz account?

Download the Prepbuzz app from the Play Store and tap "Sign Up". Enter your mobile number, verify via OTP, and choose your target exam. Your account is ready in under a minute — no email required.
I forgot my password / can't login. What do I do?

Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen and enter your registered mobile number. You'll receive an OTP to reset your credentials. If you still face issues, contact us via WhatsApp with your registered number.
Can I change my target exam after signing up?

Yes. Go to Profile → Settings → Target Exam and select a new exam. Note that your practice history and analytics will reset for question recommendations, but your previous records are still saved.
How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Please note this action is irreversible and will permanently remove all your data including progress, bookmarks, and purchase history. If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it first.
Can I use Prepbuzz on multiple devices?

Yes. Your Prepbuzz account is synced to the cloud. Login with the same number on any Android device and all your progress, bookmarks, and analytics will be available. Simultaneous login on multiple devices is supported.
PRACTICE & TESTS

How do daily challenges work?

Every day at midnight, a new set of 10 questions is unlocked across topics. Completing all 10 earns you streak points and XP. Your streak resets if you skip a day, so try to complete at least one session daily.
What is the difference between Practice and Mock Tests?

Practice sessions are topic-specific and untimed — great for learning concepts. Mock Tests simulate the real exam environment with a timer, negative marking (if applicable), and a live ranking board. Mock tests are available on Pro plan.
Can I retake a mock test?

Each mock test can be attempted once. However, after completing it, you can review every question with detailed solutions. New mock tests are added regularly so there's always fresh material to attempt.
My mock test got interrupted. Will I lose my attempt?

If your test is interrupted due to a network issue or app crash, your progress is auto-saved every 2 minutes. Reopen the app and you'll be prompted to resume. If the timer expired during the interruption, the test will be auto-submitted with answers recorded up to that point.
How are questions selected for my practice?

Prepbuzz uses an adaptive algorithm that tracks your performance across topics. Questions are weighted toward your weak areas while maintaining a mix of easy, medium, and hard problems to keep you improving steadily.

What does the Accuracy metric show?

Accuracy is the percentage of correct answers out of all attempted questions in the selected time period. It's calculated per topic so you can see exactly where you're strong and where you need to focus more.
What are "Weak Areas"?
▼
Weak Areas are topics where your accuracy falls below 60% over the last 20+ attempts. The system flags these automatically and prioritizes similar questions in your practice sessions to help you improve.
How is my rank calculated in mock tests?

Your rank is calculated in real-time among all students who attempted the same mock test within 48 hours of its release. After 48 hours, rankings are finalized. Ranking considers total score first, then time taken as a tiebreaker.
COURSES & LIBRARY
Questions about learning content, PDFs, and study materials.
Are courses available offline?

Yes. Pro subscribers can download course content and PDFs for offline access. Tap the download icon next to any lesson or PDF. Downloaded content is stored on your device for 30 days before requiring a refresh.
How often is new content added to the library?
▼
We add new practice questions weekly and update courses every month based on the latest exam patterns. When a major exam notification drops, we update relevant PYQs and materials within 48 hours.
Can I suggest topics or content to be added?
▼
Absolutely! We love student suggestions. Tap the "Suggest Content" button in the Library section or send us a message via WhatsApp. Frequently requested content gets prioritized in our content calendar.
BILLING & PLANS
Questions about payments, upgrades, and refunds.
How do I upgrade to Pro?

Go to Profile → Upgrade to Pro. Choose monthly (₹199/month) or annual plan. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and Paytm. Upgrade takes effect immediately after payment confirmation.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from Profile → Manage Subscription → Cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. No hidden cancellation fees.
What is your refund policy?

We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time Pro subscribers. If you're unsatisfied within the first 7 days of your first purchase, contact us and we'll process a full refund within 5-7 business days. Renewals are not eligible for refunds.
My payment failed but money was deducted. What should I do?

In most cases, the amount is auto-reversed by your bank within 5-7 working days. If it's not reversed, please contact us via WhatsApp with your UPI transaction ID or bank reference number and we'll resolve it within 48 hours.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
App problems, bugs, and troubleshooting steps.
The app is crashing or loading slowly. How do I fix it?

Try these steps: (1) Force close and reopen the app, (2) Check your internet connection, (3) Clear app cache from Android Settings → Apps → Prepbuzz → Clear Cache, (4) Update to the latest version from Play Store. If the issue persists, contact us with your device model and Android version.
Questions are not loading or showing a blank screen.

This is usually a network issue. Ensure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi preferred). Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi or vice versa, then try again. If questions still don't load, clear the app cache and restart. We may also be doing maintenance — check our status page.
My progress / streak is not saving correctly.

Progress syncs when you complete a session and have an active internet connection. If you practiced offline, data syncs automatically when you reconnect. If data is still missing after sync, contact us with the date and session details.
How do I report a wrong question or answer?

Tap the flag icon on any question and select "Wrong Answer/Explanation" or "Unclear Question". Our content team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Verified reports earn you bonus practice credits as a thank-you.
